Policies

This section describes Contech's policies concerning its 30-day money-back guarantee, two-year limited warranty, pricing, shipping, product returns and review samples.

To take full advantage of your warranty, you should register your warranty.

30-day money back guarantee

If a Contech product fails to meet your expectations, please return it to the dealer where you purchased it within 30-days for a full refund (not including freight). If you have any difficulty with this, please call Contech at 1-800-767-8658.

Limited warranty

Many of Contech’s electronic products are covered by a limited warranty. Please see your instruction manual or the website to confirm if your product is covered by an extended warranty. If your product fails (either mechanically or electronically) after 30 days, but within the warranty period, Contech will repair or replace the product. For more information, call Contech at 1-800-767-8658, or send an e-mail to us.

Contech Inc. warrants to the original purchasers of its products that the product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for the period of published warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, or damage caused in transportation.

Contech Inc. is not responsible or liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this product, or damages with respect to any economic loss, loss of property, or loss of revenues or profit.

Except as provided herein, Contech Inc. makes no express warranties, and denies any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Charges will be rendered for repairs to the product after the expiration of the aforesaid warranty period. This warranty may not be transferred.

To activate your warranty, please return the warranty registration portion of the product instruction manual by fax or e-mail, or register your warranty online.

Pricing

Dealers may sell Contech products for more or less than the manufacturer's suggested retail prices, at their discretion.

Shipping

Delivery by UPS Ground within North America typically takes from five to seven business days. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt. Canadian orders are shipped from Contech's Vancouver, British Columbia facility. US orders are shipped from the company's Chicago warehouse. (When ordering online, shipping options and costs are displayed before the orders is finalized.)

Returns

In the event you should ever need to return a product, PLEASE CALL FIRST BEFORE SENDING ANY PRODUCTS BACK to Contech (1-800-767-8658, Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30 PST) or send an e-mail to us to request an RMA number and specific instructions. Without an RMA and appropriate documentation, your package may be refused by customs or the warehouse. By calling first, you'll greatly improve Contech's ability to deliver on your expectations.
