How does the Waspinator work?
The Waspinator mimics an enemy nest. Wasps are very territorial and will aggressively defend their nest. When a wasp sees an enemy nest they leave the area!
Wasps can see color and shapes.

Do the wasps fly inside?
No. It is not a trap. It is more similar to a scarecrow.

Does it work for all types of wasps? Yellow jackets?
There are over 15,000 species of wasps and yellow jackets worldwide. It works for those pesky types that want to join you for dinner.

What is it made of?
It is made of 100% polypropylene. It is recyclable material that is also weatherproof. You can squish it up to take it with you and it will easily puff back out as it did the first time you used it.

Is the Waspinator washable?
Yes – if your Waspinator becomes dirty you can clean it by spraying it with
a garden hose.

How come I have never seen it before?
It is relatively new (just a few years old). In its first season The Original Waspinator gained nationwide acceptance in both the US and Canada.

Can I leave the Waspinator out year-round?
Yes - the Waspinator is UV treated and durable enough to leave out even during the winter.

Can I put something inside the Waspinator to help keep it fluffed up?
Yes – a few plastic shopping bags placed inside the Waspinator will help it keep
its shape.

No – the Waspinator uses no chemicals so it’s environmentally friendly.

Where should I hang the Waspinator?
Hang the Waspinator in any area you are being bothered by wasps, as close to the area as possible. (For example, above your patio table or next to your barbeque).
