WaterDog® Care & Cleaning
Daily: Place your hand in front of your WaterDog’s sensors to
ensure that it is working correctly and that the batteries are
good. (Look for the light to flash green).
Monthly: Inspect the sensor area to make sure that it is clean
and free of any dirt or debris. If you find that the screen is dirty
you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Alternatively, you can
remove the two screws that hold the screen on and wash it with
soapy water.
Yearly: Replace the 4 “C” cell batteries. Always use alkaline
batteries for maximum performance.
Sometimes, things like debris and hard water build up can affect the operation of the WaterDog. If your WaterDog is not operating correctly (and you've already checked that the batteries are good) your WaterDog's valve may need to be cleaned. Please follow these directions.
